Due to their historically high level of medical education, research and well-structured healthcare systems, the five countries share medical practices that yield an exceptional set of standards in terms of quality of medical data.
EGeen has active relationships with over 100 hospitals. Even though the focus of our trials were mostly on oncology and CNS indications, the bulk of these hospitals are major clinical centers that treat patients with all ranges of illnesses.
EGeen’s permanent attention to hire the most qualified doctors as clinical investigators provides a guarantee of excellent quality to our trials, while the compensation levels compared to Western Europe or the USA add significant cost advantages. All Principal Investigators that we have selected in our medical network have experience in global clinical trials (through past collaborations with large CROs and/or pharmaceutical companies) and are adequately GCP trained (a list of our physicians and their resumes can be provided to prospective clients when appropriate).
Physicians are highly motivated to become investigators of our trials. In addition to financial benefits, the opportunities for peer recognition and participation in cutting edge clinical studies provide the potential investigators a great deal of motivation. EGeen actively collaborate with key physicians and opinion leaders from these countries in engaging them in suitable scientific programs.
Furthermore, the highly centralized medical systems in EGeen’s territories comprised of large centers allows EGeen to take advantage of the referrals from general practitioners to appropriate central medical institutions to increase the catchment area. Hence, while we have access to a large number of patients, we will be conducting trials in a smaller number of trial centers thereby minimizing the monitoring/administrative tasks to ensure quality while accessing the entire patient population served by the referring general practitioners.
